I don’t think I’ve made it a mystery how smitten I am with amphibious vehicles. So when I heard SeaLegs was going to have a booth at the show, I knew I would have to make a stop. The craft hails from Auckland, New Zealand but U.S. sales offices can help get you set up with a sea trial and test drive.
On land, the aluminum/RIB craft is propelled by either a two wheel or three wheel hydraulic system. The hydraulic motors are powered by a 4 stroke v-twin mounted below the helm seat. Who needs a trailer when you can drive the boat back to the house.
Check out more photos and a video of the SeaLegs after the jump break.
