Ghost Ships Do Exist

Source: SailWorld via Ruslan Elisleev
And judging by the eerie silhouette just below the water’s surface they are just waiting to jump out and force you and your crew into impressment.  Thankfully we are able to make light of what could have been more of a tragedy.  The crew members of the 76ft yacht Mar Sem Fin (Endless Sea) were able to escape unharmed when the vessel began to sink due to ice compression and strong winds off the coast of the Chilean Arctic Base.  Sadly the yacht has meet an early demise in a shallow icy grave.  You can read more about the harrowing experience and what the Brazilian vessel was doing in the Antarctic over at Sail-World.

    1. perhaps the guy who wrote 'fake' is simply trolling and you got sucked in. i suggest, if you're going to be an arrogant primate, you at least spell properly.

Dumb. Now this person will spend a good few minutes wondering if I'm insulting them or demonstrating the correct spelling. :-)

Oh and I can't imagine I'll be back to visit any more primitive comments :-) again

    2. What happened here wasn't nice,
The captain wished he'd thought twice,
      And sailed back to Brazil,
      And avoided the chill,
Of being up to his bollocks in ice!! ;-))
      Boom Boom!!!
