Pursuit 36 Sport Yacht: Preliminary Specs Released
 |
Source: Pursuit |
Much like a burlesque dancer’s slow reveal, Pursuit is teasing its newest contribution to the sport yacht market. The company has removed another article concealing the details of this yacht in the form of preliminary specs. If you recall from an earlier reveal, Pursuit gave us a somewhat detailed view of how they plan to make a sport yacht powered by outboards. The preliminary specs will just have to satisfy for now as we anticipate the Full Monty reveal at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show later this year in October. Click past the jump for the preliminary spec details.
- LOA: *41’2” (12.55 m)
- Beam: 12’6” (3.81 m)
- Deadrise: 20°
- Displacement: 17,000 lbs (7.71 mt) Light, Approx.
- Fuel: 275 gal (1041 l)
- Water: 75 gal (284 l)
- Waste: 25 gal (95 l)
*My guess is that the yacht is called a 36 because that’s how much boat is in front of the concealed outboard engine, why not just call it a 41.

Sweet - do you have tickets to the boat show yet? I wouldn't mind taking a little ride on that yacht. I will bring my tape measure and help figure out why they are calling it a 36 though I suspect your guess is right.
