A Diesel Powered EdgeWater?

Source: EdgeWater
The only thing I like more than a boat is a diesel powered boat.  Unfortunately, that usually means a fairly large yacht.  Not that I have anything against yachts, but smaller vessels are more feasible given my current financial situation.  Loads of torque and better efficiency than a gasoline engine make a diesel the ideal candidate to quickly improve the efficiency of your vessel.  EdgeWater Power Boats recently unveiled their 228CCD model complete with a 180-hp Yanmar 4BY2 from Mastry Engine Center.  There aren’t many boats on the market that can claim to be “unsinkable”; even fewer, if any, that can claim to be an unsinkable diesel.  Edgewater Power Boats can make that claim.  The new 228CCD has all the makings of a fish catching machine in a seriously compact package.
