Can’t get enough of Seven Marine’s new 557 outboard motors?  Me neither.  Check out this interview during the Miami Boat Show by our French allies to the east at MoteurBoat.com.  The English speaking interview with Seven Marine’s president Rick Davis delves into the origins of the outboard, some of the challenges of the design, and the future of the company.  Mr. Davis explains the race inspired gear case and some of the short term future plans for the new outboard manufacturer.  Maybe I’m reading a bit too much into the interview but Mr. Davis points out the future of Seven Marine’s gasoline offerings; might there be a "torque-tastic" diesel offering in their future?
