First Look: The Shrinking Yacht Tender w/video

Source: IDesMa
Have you ever had that problem where you just can’t seem to find the right size tender for your yacht?  Yeah, me neither.  But if you should ever suddenly have that problem, remember you got this solution from me and invite me along on a cruise.  Your answer is a shrinking boat.

Stay with me on this one.  The Italian design firm IDesMa has produced a boat that essentially telescopes from 4.3 meters (14.1 ft) when stowed to 6.5 meters (21.3 ft) when deployed; and all of this happens in just 60 seconds.  IDesMa (Italian Design and Manufacturing) calls this luxury marine cruiser the LMC650.  Like most things Italian, this tender is quite the looker.  She is powered smartly by a 170mhp diesel engine and is good for 35 knots.  Click the jump break to see the shrinking boat in action.
