Ok, they are really only coming to your waterway if you live in Norwalk, CT. I’m a huge fan of the recent food truck craze. I have even had thoughts of putting a food truck on the water. We all know those islands or boating hotspots where it would just make sense to have a food vendor around. That’s exactly what deli owner Clyde Ripka has done in Norwalk, CT. Being a boater himself, Clyde knew his local waterways well enough to move some of his deli business out to sea. He’s become popular enough he even gets requests for service via his VHF radio. I’m sure a little social media announcement never hurt either. If you’re looking for some inspiration to start your own food boat check out this story and get our on your local waterways.
