It’s strange, six months ago the outboard powered sport cruiser market didn’t exist and now there are two boats competing in it. We’ve already looked at the only other boat in this segment, now let’s take a look at Sea Ray’s 370 Venture.
One of the first things I noticed on this boat is how far apart the motors are (about 5 feet center to center); I bet this thing has catamaran like handling when your docking. We checked out the Venture in Ft. Lauderdale and were pretty impressed. The birth in this thing is huge thanks to the absence of an engine room. The only minor quarrel I could conceive would be trying to inspect or unfoul a prop, but you'd have the same problem with other cruisers.
